Wolf Lake Motel & Resort offers 16 rooms from a standard motel room to a 2-bedroom lakefront unit. A beautiful private beach is just a few steps away from your room. Wolf Lake is known for its crystal clear water and sandy beaches. Wolf Lake is an all sports lake so bring your boat, jet ski or paddle board. There is a paved road all the way around the lake (approximately 4 miles) for bike riding, running or walking.

We are located close to four major rivers – the Pere Marquette, Little Manistee, Baldwin, and Pine. These rivers provide some of the best fishing, canoeing and kayaking in the country. Anglers take home prize catches of steelhead, rainbow and brown trout and salmon. The Pere Marquette – with a National Wild and Scenic River designation – has seven miles of prime water set aside for “Flies Only” fishing.

In the spring through fall, enjoy 300 miles of marked ATV and dirt bike trails. This includes over 70 miles of groomed ATV trails in the summer so you can ride all day. You can ride your ATV or dirt bike right from your room.

With 140″ to 180″ of annual snowfall and direct access to nearly 750 miles of groomed, connected and marked snowmobile trails, winter is a great time to visit us. You can ride your snowmobile right from your room, weather permitting.

Downhill and cross-country skiing is available at Caberfae Peaks ski lodge and the Big M which provides miles of groomed trails. Both are located within 35 minutes of the resort.

There are miles of hiking and mountain bike trails that run through the Manistee National Forest and the Pere Marquette State Forest. The North Country National Scenic Trail and the Big M are just a couple.

There are thousands of acres of national and state forest lands open to hunting, everything from morels in the spring to the plentiful amount of wild game including turkey, deer, grouse and more.
